JOB PURPOSE: To ensure the stable and streamlined operation of IT in alignment with the mission and goals of the organization. Anticipate, initiate, and implement innovative solutions, improvements, and upgrades to meet the technology and communication needs for the organization. Work closely with Operations Team and decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective and innovative technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
1. IT Support (40%)
• Provide prompt service-oriented support and troubleshooting for on-site, remote, and traveling employees.
• Track IT issues to identify patterns and implement organization wide solutions.
• Provide, create and deliver training, messaging, and help documents to meet employee needs and improve employee tech expertise.
• Escalate issues to outsourced/contracted IT services and vendors as appropriate.
• Provide support for website, social media, virtual meetings, and other software or applications as needed.
2. INFORMATION Technology Management (30%)
• Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects while serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
• Research and evaluate IT initiatives to understand implications and propose the most appropriate decisions for business operations and best practices.
• Organize, maintain, and publicize efficient systems of information storage, retrieval, and sharing.
• Provide network support to analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
• Conduct monitoring of server and network to maintain stability and security by identify and troubleshooting problems.
• Oversee and manage stable system backups, archives, and disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain the communication infrastructure (computer hardware and software, printers, telephones, handheld devices, internet access, email, etc.) for the entire organization including on-site, remote, and traveling employees.
• Support the back end infrastructure and updates to the public website as needed.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software, and other IT products.
• Develops and oversees tech budget.
3. OPERATIONS SUPPORT (30%)
• Assist in creation of solutions and troubleshooting of operations-related issues.
• Provide logistical and administrative operational support for systems and processes, meeting, and events.
• Create and provide staff communication and messaging on operations related topics.

12. Mac and PC desktop support experience including Microsoft office suite.
13. Administrative experience with databases or customer relationship management systems preferred.
14. Administrative experience with Google Apps including calendaring and document share preferred.
15. Website administration and design experience preferred.
16. VOIP management experience preferred.
17. Server and networking management experience preferred.
18. IT related degree preferred.
