Bryce oversees all operations on the ground of APR lands and works with various agencies as well as APR’s lessees and neighbors. He joined APF and moved to the Reserve with his wife, Christine, APR’s Reserve Coordinator, in 2008. Prior to that, Bryce had a 33-year career with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, through which he worked as a Game Warden, Warden Sergeant and Warden Captain. He completed his career as Regional Supervisor for Region 7 and was responsible for the oversight and administration of all fish, wildlife and park activities in a 30,000 square mile area of southeastern Montana. Originally from Nebraska, he holds a BS in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana and has been a member of Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever for many years. Sean Gerrity is the President of American Prairie Reserve. Sean is a co-founder of Catalyst Consulting Team. Begun in 1985, Catalyst continues to specialize in organization alignment, strategy development and implementation. From the original three founders, it grew to employ 35 people with offices in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and Washington, DC. During his sixteen years with Catalyst, Sean worked extensively with clients throughout North America, Europe and Asia. In 1996, Sean returned with his family to his home state of Montana, went half time with Catalyst and began exploring ways to contribute more directly to the efforts of non-profits. He joined APR as its first board member in 2001 and became President of the organization in February 2002. His interest in this project is three fold: one, to help leave a meaningful wildlife legacy for future generations, second, to help secure an enormous intact ecosystem that will hopefully inspire others about the artistic and spiritual nature of natural systems and third, the chance to apply proven business concepts to a very ambitious not-for-profit endeavor. While he has lived many places around the U.S., Sean grew up primarily in Great Falls, Montana, spent summers working in the Paradise Valley south of Livingston, MT and earned his bachelor’s degree from Montana State University. He lives in Bozeman with his wife and two children.
Jennifer manages cash flow, oversees all financial transactions and assists APR’s Executive Team and Board of Directors with financial reports. She grew up south of Helena, Montana, and holds a BA in Organizational Communication from Montana State University-Billings. Jennifer is very interested in grassland wildlife restoration efforts, especially those to build a black-footed ferret population on lands adjacent to American Prairie Reserve. She looks forward to the time when habitat and prairie dog populations are suitable to sustain a black-footed ferret population on the Reserve.
Jenny was born and raised in Montana. As a Montana native she decided to complete her education at Montana State University. In the spring of 2011, Jenny traveled to Europe to participate in an art based study abroad program in Italy. He appreciates the view from “his office” on American Prairie Reserve, which he can enjoy by looking out the window of a pick-up, over the handlebars of a 4-wheeler, while walking fence or during a tour of the Reserve with visitors. He enjoys working with bison and loves seeing the excitement in visitors’ eyes when they arrive at the Reserve and the satisfaction that they had a good time when they leave.

Joining APR in January 2012, Julia works closely with the development team and our Board of Directors on the campaign to build America’s Serengeti in a supportive capacity. With a completed BS in Equine Business Management from Johnson & Wales University, Julia quickly traded the familiar east coast for the wild, wide-open expanses and mountains of Montana. An avid outdoors enthusiast and expert horsewoman with an interest in agri-tourism, she soon became involved with ranching and incurably attached to Montana. She has worked as a wrangler, personal assistant, and barn manager as well as an executive assistant for two years, helping to expand educational opportunities in Indonesia for low income families with the Putera Sampoerna Foundation.
