Volunteer

By donating time, volunteers make a meaningful contribution to prairie conservation.

Volunteers have helped with fence removal and habitat restoration projects out in the field, they serve as property caretakers and hunting hosts, and they assist with educating the public about prairie conservation at the National Discovery Center. Opportunities vary based on the season and need.

National Discovery Center volunteers are welcome year-round during visitor hours. They work closely with the public, providing personal tours, information, assistance, and gift shop services.
