Pronghorn and mule deer aren’t the only creatures making their way around the around the Reserve these days. Recent visitors ventured out across the prairie on bicycles!
Visitation Intern Lindsey Wimberg invited her parents to experience her life on the Reserve this summer and they accepted, arriving with bikes in tow. Utilizing their skills as professional videographers, the Wimbergs set out across the landscape and captured their experience for the rest of us. Below is the video they put together – complete with up-close encounters with prairie dogs, a burrowing owl and the APR bison herd.
We hope you’re inspired to start planning your own prairie adventure, and we’d love to hear about your trip when you return. If you’ve already been out on the Reserve this year, send us your visitor story today!
