Join Friends of the Prairie today! Friends of the Prairie make one-time contributions at many different levels to support our priority needs. Below are some of the most common ways to make your gift to APF. Cash/Credit Card: A cash or credit card gift is an easy way to support APF. Gifts may be made online via our secure credit card service, by mail, by fax, or by phone. Stock/Securities: A gift of appreciated stock to APF may result in significant tax savings. Click here for more information about how to donate stock, bond or mutual fund donations to APF. Endowment: A gift to the APF endowment supports our stewardship efforts long into the future. Montana law provides a special tax credit to many Montana taxpayers for gifts to the endowments of non-profit organizations like APF. The credit is available to many individual taxpayers, small businesses, corporations, and estates. Contact Noël Twigg for more information. APF has a “wish list” for certain equipment and professional services that may be met through in-kind contributions from individuals and businesses. Contact Noël Twigg. Trusts/Bequests: Charitable giving as part of your estate planning enables you to forever be associated with APF, while reaping significant tax benefits for you and your family in the process. Please contact Noël Twigg for more information about gift planning options. Grants/Designated Gifts: You can make a gift or grant specifically designated to land acquisition, habitat restoration, bison reintroduction and management, or another of APF’s programs, please contact Louise Forrest. American Prairie Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered with the Internal Revenue Service. Gifts to APF are tax-deductible to the full extent of the IRS code. |
