During this week of Thanksgiving, we’re especially grateful for the early adopters of American Prairie Reserve — those who helped spread the word about our unprecedented project. You’ve shared our photos on Facebook or told a neighbor about our efforts. You’ve donated time and/or treasure to the cause. And thanks to you, we’re seeing more and more people from all walks of life interested in our work.
We've considered author Dan Flores a friend of American Prairie Reserve since he first wrote about our project in his book American Serengeti. We're glad to see his continued success with his newest book Coyote America: A Natural and Supernatural History. If you're looking to learn more about Canis latrans, Flores provides a thoughtful telling of its environmental and natural history. NPR’s David Green describes the book as “a coyote biography.”
