Seth is the Kären & Jay Abbe Director of the National Discovery Center at American Prairie. He will oversee design, development, and programming for this new center to be located on Main Street in downtown Lewistown.
Seth comes to American Prairie with over 15 years' experience in the development of visitor centers and historic sites in locations across the U.S. and around the world. He holds a BA in History Teaching, and a Masters in Organizational Behavior / Business Administration. He also recently completed the necessary coursework to receive his Project Management Professional certification.
When not creating great visitor experiences, Seth enjoys sports, architecture, and spending time with family. He has been a part of leadership committees with the United Way and Boy Scouts of America, and before moving to Montana was a member of the Housing Gap Coalition at Utah's statewide Chamber of Commerce, a group working to solve a shortage of over 55,000 housing units in the region.
"I grew up in ranching communities in Montana and Oregon, and am very excited to bring my family home to this beautiful state. The issues around this project are complex, but I feel I can use my experience of living and working on both sides to build bridges and help people understand one another better."
