Antelope Creek Campground

The Antelope Creek Campground at Mars Vista is situated on rolling sage/shortgrass prairie and is our most accessible lodging option. Located seven miles north of the Missouri River along US 191, the campground features an interpretive hiking trail, a nearby prairie dog town, and wetlands prime for birdwatching. Tent spaces, RV sites with power, and small cabins are available to reserve, and guests have access to a bath house with showers.

To Antelope Creek Campground From Lewistown

From Lewistown, take Highway 191 north for 72 miles. Antelope Creek Campground will be off the highway on your left, between mile markers 96 and 97.

Rates do not include lodging tax and processing fees. Maximum stay is 14 days.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for RV sites and tent sites are not refundable. Cancellations for cabins are only refundable 14 days or more out from the start of your reservation. A 2.9% processing fee will be subtracted from your refund amount. All refund requests must be made by emailing visit@americanprairie.org. Refund requests are processed within 30 days.

  2. Quiet hours are from 10pm – 7am.
  3. Maximum stay is 14 days.
  4. Site limits are one RV or tent per site, 2 vehicles, and 6 people.
  5. No generator use permitted.
  6. No shooting is permitted in the campground.
  7. No swimming in the wildlife pond and wetland.
  8. The water station is for filling containers/tanks only. Do not wash vehicles.
  9. Please do not hang or clean game from campground infrastructure.
  10. Pets must be on a leash while in the campground or on the trail and may not be left outside unattended.
  11. No fireworks.
  12. Please obey posted fire restrictions.
